I joined Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2021 as a mathematics instructor in the Department of Arts and Science at the Prince Albert campus. As a child, I always enjoyed puzzles and problem-solving, which eventually led me to study mathematics. I hold a BSc in Mathematics from Indiana University and an MSc in Mathematics from the University of Saskatchewan. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics at the University of Saskatchewan, primarily focusing on developing new mathematical approaches to quantum theory as a student researcher at the quanTA Centre.
Before joining Saskatchewan Polytechnic, I spent nearly a decade as a consultant with a multinational engineering and scientific firm, where I gained technical and quantitative expertise while managing projects across Western Canada. Working in industry provided me with the tremendous opportunity to travel extensively throughout rural Western Canada.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching and participating in sports, particularly baseball and basketball. I also spend a significant amount of time walking and hiking with my dog. I look forward to working more closely with our membership in the coming years as a member of the executive committee. I appreciate all the hard work and dedication our members contribute to the SPFA, and I am committed to ensuring the SPFA remains strong and successful in the years ahead.
