SPFA members and their families have access to health and dental benefits at Sask Polytechnic. These benefits are employer paid and cover a variety of medical and dental costs for you and your family.

Dental

Members become eligible for dental benefits upon completion of six months of continuous employment. Benefit claims are retroactive to the start of the waiting period. Reimbursement levels for part-time employees is based on a percentage of full-time hours worked in the previous calendar year.

Employee Benefits

Full-time members become eligible for health benefits on the first day of the month immediately following six consecutive months of continuous service. Part-time members working 37.5% to 70% of regular full-time hours in the previous fiscal year are eligible for coverage at 50%.
