Hi SPFA members,

This is to advise that the SPFA 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Thursday, November 3, 2022, between 12 noon and 1:30 pm and will occur virtually through Zoom.

The following timeline will guide the preparations for the AGM:

• Sept. 14, 2022 – Notification of AGM (Article VII, Section 1).
• Sept. 19, 2022 – Open Nominations – President, Secretary Treasurer, VP Moose Jaw, and VP Regina – current terms end this year (Article V, Section 3).  The VP Regina will also be up for election (the normal rotation for the VP Regina occurs in odd numbered years, so this term is for one year).
• Sept 22, 2022 – Constitutional Amendments received (Article X, Section 2)
• Oct. 3, 2022 – Nominations Close (Article V, Section 5)
• Oct. 4 – 27, 2022 – Candidate Campaigning
• Oct. 6, 2022 – Nominations and Statements Circulated (Article V, Section 5)
• Oct. 20, 2022 – Constitutional Amendments circulated (Article X, Section 2), Resolutions received (Article VII, Section 4)
• Oct. 27, 2022 – E-Ballots sent to members (5 days prior to election)
• Nov. 3, 2022 – AGM
