The SPFA constitution outlines the positions elected in odd and even years. Positions are for two-year terms. Election results are announced at the Annual General Meeting (AGM):

The President shall be elected in even numbered years and the Secretary-Treasurer in odd numbered years.
Saskatoon and Moose Jaw VPs shall be elected for two-year terms in even numbered years. These two positions are up for election at the November 2020 AGM. • Regina and Prince Albert VPs shall be elected for two-year terms in odd numbered years.
